追記
外国語科の英語における内容については，小学校や高等学校における学習内
容との接続の観点も踏まえ，次のような改善を図った。
・互いの考えや気持ちなどを伝え合う対話的な言語活動を一層重視する観点
から，「話すこと［やり取り］」の領域を設定するとともに，言語の使用場
面や言語の働きを適切に取り上げ，語，文法事項などの言語材料と言語活
動とを効果的に関連付けて指導することとするなどの改善・充実を図った。
・取り扱う語数について，小学校で学習する 600 ～ 700 語に加え，現行の
「1200 語程度」の語から五つの領域別の目標を達成するための言語活動に
必要な「1600 ～ 1800 語程度」の語に改訂した。
・文，文構造及び文法事項について，表現をより適切でより豊かにするなど
の目的で，「感嘆文のうち基本的なもの」や「現在完了進行形」など数項
目を追加した。
